Harry Styles pledges to donate over $1 million to Everytown for Gun Safety
Following the Uvalde school shooting in Texas last week, Harry Styles and Live Nation have pledged to donate over $1 million to Everytown for Gun Safety using proceeds from his North American Love On Tour dates.
The patnership between Styles, Live Nation and Everytown for Gun Safety, a nonprofit organisation that advocates for gun control, was announced by Styles on Friday (27 May) night, and comes after last week's shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas that resulted in the deaths of 19 young children and two adults.
Styles wrote, "Along with all of you, I have been absolutely devastated by the recent string of mass shootings in America, culminating at Robb Elementary School in Texas."
"On our North American tour, we will be partnering with Everytown who work to end gun violence, donating to support their efforts, and sharing their suggested action items," Styles added.
