Guy Garvey's Meltdown festival adds Marika Hackman, Laura Marling, The Staves, and more
Marika Hackman and Laura Marling lead a new wave of acts that have joined Guy Garvey's Meltdown festival.
Richard Hawley, Femi Kuti, Connan Mockasin, I Am Kloot, Richard Hawley, and Garvey himself have all been added in this final set of additions. Check out the full lineup.
Garvey says: “There are so many amazing free events and performances happening during the festival and I’ve tried to make sure that everybody is catered for. I’m particularly looking forward to the Meltdown Circus Day, Snoozetime Storytime and the Evidently Spoken Word Night.”
“I cannot find the words for how excited I am about the people who have said yes," the Elbow frontman continues. "So many of the best performances are free. It makes Meltdown a very special festival and it will create the loveliest atmosphere. Drop in any time. Even if you’ve only got a lunch hour. You won’t be disappointed.”
Meltdown takes place 10-19 June at London's Southbank Centre. Tickets are on sale now.
