Guy Garvey, Tim Burgess, Kendall Calling and tastemakers team up for Off The Record Festival
Off The Record, a new festival taking place in Manchester, is a celebration of new music and emerging artists supported by well established and influential figures of the music industry.
On 4 Novemeber, Off The Record Festival will set itself up as a festival for the artists. The day will provide an opportunity for emerging artists to absorb as much information as they can at a music conference curated by Sound City and Louder Than War. From agents to bloggers, the influential figures that make up the music industry will be there, sharing their knowledge and intricate tips in favour of anyone starting out in music.
The second half of the festival plays host to a powerful cast of musical talent, boasting the best of the new as nominated by leading figures in music including Guy Garvey of Elbow,Tim Burgess and The Line of Best Fit.
The lineup is a secret until 24 hours before the event, but with 30 influential curators each putting forward 3 of their favourite emerging artists, we can be sure that this festival will be unique, varied and brimming with talent.
