Gruff Rhys to release ‘Atheist Xmas’ EP
Atheist Xmas is the title of Gruff Rhys’ forthcoming alternative Christmas EP. It will feature three new tracks that deal with the subject of seasonal depression and suicide called ‘Post Apocalypse Christmas’, ‘At The End Of the Line’ and ‘Slashed Wrists This Christmas’, which can be heard here.
The EP will be available on 19 December and to celebrate its release Gruff will be playing three instore performances that day. His journey will start at Spillers Records in Cardiff at 12noon, then he will head to Rise in Bristol for 3pm and finish off at London’s Rough Trade East at 8pm.
