Gruff Rhys announces Cardiff show and Soho Theatre residency in London

Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys is set to release new album American Interior in May, with the musician also plotting a series of album launch shows.
The multimedia project, also taking the form of a book, film and app, will be released on 5 May, with Rhys offering up audio-visual performances (including a a Powerpoint presentation on the life of the Welsh explorer John Evans) at London’s Soho Theatre from 5-10 May.
This residency will be preceded by a show at Cardiff’ Acapela on 2 May. Check out the album’s title-track and the complete live schedule beneath:
