Grizzly Bear and Bon Iver sad about Grammy nominations
Grizzly Bear’s Ed Droste has spoken out against the recent Grammy nominations after his band failed to feature.
The singer questioned the validity of the awards, posting a series of tweets on Twitter.
The rant all started with the following:
So the Grammies are literally based off sales and nothing else? #bummerzone

Before he later added sarcastically:
Super relieved Taylor Swift is up for another award. Was worried she didn’t have enough! #phew — Edward Droste (@edwarddroste) December 6, 2012
Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, who won a Grammy just last year, then chipped in to show his friend some support:
@edwarddroste this is why i hate the grammies. because it allows you to question what you’ve done. don’t question what you’ve done Ed.
