First names for Great Escape 2018 include Joy Crookes, Bad Gyal and Naaz

The annual new music festival - now in its 13th year - launches its first 50 confirmed acts with a live showcase across four venues in East London between November 21 - 23.

Ahead of the usual three day stint in Brighton across 17-19 May, the organisers of The Great Escape have announced a string of exclusive performances of some of the key acts confirmed - including a stage at East London's Old Blue Last hosted by The Line Of Best Fit on Thursday 23 November.

Advance tickets for the First Fifty showcases are just £5 each whilst early bird tickets for the main event in May are on sale for a tidy £55.

This is a really exciting time for new music and we’re fortunate to be able to showcase some of the greatest new talent from around the world. Since TGE started 13 years ago, we have always maintained that the foremost objective of the festival is to produce an internationally-reaching programme that is genuinely representative of the full range of emerging talent in music.
