Grammy Awards "likely" to be postponed for second year in a row due to COVID
Multiple sources have claimed that it's "likely" that this year's Grammy Awards could be postponed for a second consecutive year due to the Omicron variant.
According to Billboard, one of the sources said that the postponement of the 2022 Grammy Awards show - due to take place on 31 January at LA's Crypto.com Arena - is "looking likely".
If true, it'll mark the second year in a row that COVID has caused the postponement of the Grammys, after last year's Grammys were delayed until March due to a surge in cases around LA.
The Recording Academy is yet to confirm or deny reports of the possible postponement of this year's ceremony.
Last week it was revealed that Justin Bieber set a new record for the most songwriters on a Song Of The Year Grammy nomination, with 11 songwriters on his "Peaches" track.
