A host of artists re-created The Beatles’ debut album, Please Please Me, in a 12 hour recording marathon at Abbey Road studios for BBC Radio 2.
The event, dubbed ’12 Hours To Please Me’, took place yesterday (11 February) with Blur guitarist Graham Coxon among those involved.
Coxon (pictured above) took on the Liverpool group’s track ‘Baby It’s You’, giving it a 60s girl group twist with an array of backing singers.
Other musicians involved were Joss Stone, Mick Hucknall and Beverley Knight.
