Iconic singer, actress and model, Grace Jones is used to breaking new ground but now she’ll do something she said she never would, by releasing her autobiography.
Despite opening her 1981 track ‘Art Groupie’ with the line “I’ll never write my memoirs”, Jones will now do just that, with Billboard reporting that it’ll be published by Gallery Books in autumn 2014.
Jones is said to have changed her mind when realising that if she didn’t write her own history, “someone else would”. The book looks set to feature star names such as Andy Warhol, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jerry Hall.
