Gorillaz share second multimedia story The Book Of Russel
Gorillaz kicked off the week sharing a new story about guitarist Noodle - and now they're capping the week off by dropping another.
The Book Of Russel is a surreal story following drummer Russel Hobbs (yep, like the toaster brand) as he solves the problem of being a literal giant. Whaling, power ballads, North Korean Godzilla... it's definitely a weird tale. The most intriguing part is the final sentence: "The band was getting back together."
Gorillaz's next record is expected in 2017, and it looks like they're gearing up for something exciting sooner rather than later.
Presumably we'll be getting The Book Of 2D and The Book Of Murdoc in the coming days?
