Reports say that Google are currently in talks with major labels to seek music licenses to start their own streaming service.
The Financial Times report that the search and social giants are set to launch plans for their own platform to rival the likes of Spotify.
It’s said that the company will copy Spotify’s early business structure of having a free ad-funded version, as well as a premium subscription service.
Google are likely to also incorporate the masses of information they currently hold on users to customise personal listening experience.
