Godspeed You! Black Emperor announce Liverpool Music Week show
Mysterious post-rock icons Godspeed You! Black Emperor have announced their first Liverpool show for October as a part of Liverpool Music Week.
Following the release of their latest album Asunder, Sweet and Other Distress earlier this year, the Canadian outfit will make their debut in the city at Camp And Furnace on 27 October.
Mike Deane, founding director of Liverpool Music Week, said:
"Following an incredible 10th Edition of the festival last year, we are thrilled to announce our first headliner for 2015 as Godspeed You! Black Emperor - an act we have been trying to get to the festival for years, and now we can finally proudly announce will play their first ever Liverpool show at this years LMW. Furnace was an exceptional space for our headline shows Mogwai, Caribou, Chrvrches and will be the perfect venue for Godspeed’s first visit to the city.”
This year's Liverpool Music Week takes place between 22-31 October.
