What is it with 2013? Along with a resurgence of comebacks, it also seems to be the year that mash-ups are back in fashion. Kanye West mash-ups have been of particular vogue and here’s one by Girl Talk of Yeezy and Marilyn Manson.
Most people on first hearing Yeezus track ‘Black Skinhead’ thought it contained a MM sample, later found out to be one belonging to Gary Glitter, so it’s no surprise that this mix flows kind of well.
Girl Talk has also paired Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ with Michael Jackson’s ‘Remember The Time’. You can check that out below too, via Stereogum, both played and recorded at the DJ’s recent show in Charlotte, North Carolina.
