Giorgio Moroder aims to “recreate Studio 54″ with live show
Disco legend and recent Daft Punk collaborator, Giorgio Moroder has unveiled his plans for a Studio 54-inspired stage show.
Speaking to The Guardian recently, Moroder said he’s planning on launching a new project in Las Vegas, before looking to take it on the road.
“I would do the DJing, but maybe before me we have another famous DJ, maybe somebody after. We of course have a ball, dancers in a cage: recreate Studio 54, and have it in Vegas, Macau, London,” the musician said. “We’re thinking of starting first in Vegas it will probably be a bit like Blue Man Group – they have a franchise. We might even talk to the Cirque De Soleil team.”
