German singer/producer JATA has announced debut record Mexico and shared a live video for new single "Monster".
Using vintage and analog hardware JATA draws from '90s hip-hop, classic R&B, and experimental electronica to create his punchy sound - which hits particularly hard during the monumental "Monster". Ramon Haindl directs the live clip above.
The Berlin-based artist (real name Jacob Vetter) is following up a handful of one-offs and shorter releases - including last year's "Don't Feel Like" and "The Curse" - with his first full-length.
Tracklist:
- Mephisto
- Mexico
- Saturn
- Monster
- The Samaritan
- What Would You Do
- I Don't Blossom
- Love You (Less)
- Down by the Water
- The City
Mexico is out 1 September via Snowhite Records.
