Geowulf clear the mist from "Saltwater" with this new acoustic take
Cling on to the last remnants of summer with Geowulf's splendid, stripped-back version of their sweltering belter "Saltwater".
The original, which arrived in July, is a dreamy piece of beach-ready pop.
"After we wrote 'Saltwater', we were so excited," say Geowulf. "We built it into this big arrangement which turned out great - but then recently we listened back to the original demo which was just a simple, stripped-back recording and felt like it was too special not to share something in a similar style. We hope you like it."
This new rendition is still warm and fuzzy, with the vocals from Star Kendrick doused in static-y echoes, but takes life at a more leisurely pace. It's a perfect chill-out number.
Geowulf are playing the opening night of our new music festival in January alongside IDER and Dagny. Find out more.
