Georgia announces self-titled debut album, shares new single "Be Ache"
Georgia, the experimental producer/multi-instrumentalist, has announced her debut album and shared a teaser trailer to preview new track "Intro".
She's also shared another track from the LP, the bristling, bleeping electronica exploration "Be Ache", which sits somewhere between Aphex Twin, The Knife and FKA Twigs.
The former Kwes and Kate Tempest drummer, full name Georgia Barnes, uses a range of influences from her home city of London in her music.
Georgia will be released by Domino 7 August; pre-orderers will receive four tracks - the above "Be Ache", "Digits", "Move Systems" and "Intro" as instant downloads.
Georgia is set to support Hot Chip on their October tour. She will also play a headline date at London's The Waiting Room on Saturday (6 June, free, but tickets by application only), and another at Electrowerkz on 9 July (not free).
