Gently Tender announce Matthew E. White-produced debut album Take Hold Of Your Promise!
Gently Tender have shared details of their upcoming debut album Take Hold Of Your Promise!, which is produced by Matthew E. White, and have shared new single "Love All The Population" to accompany the news.
"Love All The Population" is the second song to be lifted from Gently Tender's debut album, following last month's "Dead is Dead" single, and is teamed with a Oscar Carrier-Sippy-directed video.
Lead vocalist Sam Fryer says of the new outing, "This song was written in the first lockdown - like lots of people I had spent many hours reflecting on the togetherness of our existence pre-pandemic. I was thinking a lot about the now-empty spaces - empty music venues particularly - not only closing because of the pandemic! So this song was a bit of a lament to those."
Take Hold Of Your Promise! has been in the works for five years, and is produced by Matthew E. White, who flew over to work with the group in lockdown at Wales’ Rockfield Studios.
