Garbage cover Patti Smith for Record Store Day 2013

Recently-reformed alt-rock ever-presents, Garbage have teamed up with New Jersey threepiece Screaming Females to cover Patti Smith for Record Store Day.

The international vinyl celebration takes place this Saturday (20 April), with one of the last minute releases announced to be this rendition of Smith’s classic ‘Because The Night’.

It follows on from Garbage’s recent album, Not Your Kind Of People, released in 2012. Watch a studio-shot video for the cover below.
