Future Of The Left to release new LP in April, reveal lead single "The Limits Of Battleships"

Future Of The Left have announced their new record The Peace And Truce Of Future Of The Left, and shared its lead single "The Limits Of Battleships".

The album was recorded at Monnow Valley studios in Monmouth by Anthony Chapman, and has been crowdfunded by fans on PledgeMusic - it took them three-and-a-half hours to obliterate their target (beating the mere five hours it took to fund their previous LP).

The band wrote about new song "The Limits Of Battleships" on SoundCloud a bit: "Is it a bird? No. Is it a plane? No. Is it a single? No. Is it a song from the new future of the left album? Yes. Yes it is. It's the sixth song, by the way, if that kind of thing matters to you (it does to us). We hope you like it but if not thousands of other bands are available."

The Peace And Truce Of Future Of The Left is out 8 April on their own label, Prescriptions. It follows 2013's How To Stop Your Brain In An Accident.

If you nab an £8 AccessPass you can hear another track (influenced by "Price... and Korn") right now called "If AT&T Drank Tea What Would BP Do?". The album is also available as a bundle with a separate mini-album of songs that didn't make the final record.
