Franz Ferdinand ask fans to pick 6 Music Festival setlist
Scottish indie-rockers Franz Ferdinand are one of the many acts on BBC Radio 6 Music‘s impressive bill for their first-ever festival. With the event taking place early next month, the band have announced they’ll be letting fans craft their upcoming setlist.
“We’ve never let the fans choose the setlist before,” the band’s frontman Alex Kapranos says in a statement. “Could be a total disaster. Could be amazing. Let’s find out.”
Fans can vote for their favourite tracks over at the 6 Music website, with voting closing on Monday (10 February). The 6 Music Festival itself takes place on 1 March in Manchester.
Meanwhile, Kapranos has recently found himself in some unlikely beef with Pharrell Williams.
