Foxes shares "Body Talk" video, updates Best Fit on second album
Foxes has shared her new video for recent single "Body Talk", and given Best Fit an update on her hugely-anticipated follow up to debut record Glorious.
We caught up with the Southampton-born singer at the Isle Of Wight Festival earlier this month, where she unloaded a set of new material and tried-and-tested belters to one of the Big Top's biggest and most adoring audiences of the weekend.
Of the new album and single, Foxes said:
"[Body Talk] is a sort of teaser track... the reaction's been so lovely. I filmed the video in Barcelona on a night shoot, which was amazing! The new album will be in Autumn. I learnt a lot from writing the first album, and it actually didn't take that long to write the second album! I already had in my mind what I wanted to say and do as well... it's a lot more stripped back in quite a few places. I'm very honest on it too - I mean, I was honest on Glorious, but I definitely used this one as therapy. It's quite scary [laughs]. There are more stripped back songs on the record, lots of piano and voice, which I'm a big fan of. I don't think it's too overcrowded with production. You have your whole life to write your first album; the second is always gonna be a bit different, but I think I learnt a lot from working with some amazing people on Glorious that I've been able to use."
