Fourth person confirmed dead following SXSW car crash

A fourth casualty has been announced following the hit-and-run car crash at Austin’s SXSW festival earlier this month.

Driver Rashad Owens has been charged with murder after speeding through a street full of pedestrians at the Texan music showcase event. Two fatalities had been confirmed at the scene, with another victim dying in hospital later.

Now, the Austin Police Department has named a fourth death via Twitter. DeAndre Tatum was reportedly 18 years old.
