Former Queens of the Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri involved in car accident
Ex-Queens of the Stone Age man, Nick Oliveri was involved in a car crash earlier this week, reports say.
The bassist and controversial former member, who was kicked out of the group in 2004 following allegations of domestic abuse, is said to not have suffered any serious injuries following the incident.
His current band, Mondo Generator issued a statement on Facebook along with photos of the damage done to the car, which you can see below. The message read:
“We’re sending many many well-wishes and hang in there’s to Nick! He was involved in an auto accident late Monday night. He was shaken up, and you can probably see why if you look at the car, but it’s nothing he won’t recover from. Get well soon brother!”
Oliveri (pictured centre, above) recently made a marginal appearance on QOTSA’s latest album …Like Clockwork, providing backing vocals to a handful of tracks.
