
Foreign Fields unveil the finale of their stunning series exploring the five stages of grief
Nashville twosome Foreign Fields are sharing the last part of their video series looking at the five stages of grief.
The audio/visual duo, comprising Brian Holl and Eric Hillman, are finishing off their jaw-dropping cinematic project with this Bennett Johnson-directed clip. They've already been through four of the five traditional stages of grief, and are now arriving at the end: acceptance.
This video for "Take Cover" is the final portion of Foreign Fields' series. Like the rest, it's been created in collaboration with the New York Ballet School, produced by Emmy award-winning director Gregory Horoupian, and choreographed by founder of the Indie Ballet Collaborative, Ariel Asch.
The track appears on the band's second LP Take Cover, the follow up to their lauded debut Anywhere But I Am.
"Making this album marked a shift in our approach with Foreign Fields," say the band. "While our inspiration had derived heavily in the past from broad natural landscapes and lush dreamy moments this material felt more insular, more direct. We moved our focus away from big, lavish tones into a tighter, more percussive, more constrained sound."
