Foals announce new album What Went Down, share extended trailer
Foals have announced their fourth full-length studio album, What Went Down.
There's also a new trailer, featuring what sounds like an extended intro. A new single is getting aired 16 June next week on Annie Mac's radio show between 7pm-9pm; it's also called "What Went Down".
The LP was recorded in a 19th century mill in Southern France with James Ford. The artwork is by Japanese photographer Daisuke Yokota.
Speaking about the complex lyrical content, Yannis Philippakis said: "I wanted to tap into my inner madman and feel like I was channeling some sort of fevered creature."
The band released their previous LP Holy Fire in 2013. What Went Down is released 28 August, and is available to pre-order from 16 June.
