Flying Lotus recording new 'Aqua Teen Hunger Force' theme music
Flying Lotus has clearly been watching too many cartoons, following a recent soundtracking of Adventure Time with a new theme song for Adult Swim show Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
Josh Homme scored the programme’s previous opening music back in 2011, and now Fly Lo has confirmed via Twitter that he’ll be taking on the next one.
He told SPIN a bit about how it came about
” Dave Willis hit me up one day and asked if I was interested and I told him that it had to be me. We decided on the track but the words have to be put to it. Gonna finish it really soon. Thundercat is on it too, and maybe a guest vocal.”
Just yesterday, the electronic musician confirmed he was working on an upcoming jazz album.
