Flying Lotus' new film Kuso sounds amazing
Flying Lotus has a very weird film coming out - and he wants Elijah Wood, Kaitlin Olsen, and Craig Robinson to get involved.
Lotus Tweeted that Wood'll "be chased around by dreadlocked titty monsters with uncircumcised butts."
As well as searching for his in-front-of-camera talent, he wants someone who's good with special effects: "I'm filming a mutant bukkake esque scene."
The film, announced in August, will feature the legendary George Clinton, as well as comedians Byron Bowers and Anders Holm. It's the directorial debut from Lotus, although a part of it (Royal) premiered at the Sundance NEXT Fest over the summer.
Lotus says that the film is about "pretty much everything I'm afraid of" and will feature "a lot" of new music - including sounds from alter ego Captain Murphy, Aphex Twin, Thundercat, and Akira Yamoaka. Eddie Alcazar is producing the film (Lotus and Alcazar previously teamed up on the former's FUCKKKYOUUU).
According to Deadline, the film is set during “the aftermath of Los Angeles’ worst quake nightmare, broadcasting through a makeshift network of discarded televisions, travel between screens and between aftershocks into the twisted lives of the survivors.”
Yea. Soundtrack! I'm not 100% sure tho but there's a lot of music recorded for the film. https://t.co/l84hoIle1Q
