Florence + the Machine to play virtual Met Gala livestream event today
This year's Met Gala was postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, so instead, Vogue will be hosting a livestream event today (4 May) which will feature a performance from Florence + the Machine.
Florence + the Machine will play the digital livestream titled A Moment with the Met today (4 May).
The Met Gala usually takes place on the first Monday of May, so today's livestream will pay tribute to the annual fashion fundraiser, and will raise money for the Costume Institute and A Common Thread.
As well as featuring a performance from Florence + the Machine, Off-White designer Virgil Abloh will be hosting a DJ set.

Today's event will look back at some of the most iconic moments of the Met Gala, and will also include new clips from Cardi B, Naomi Campbell, Stella McCartney, and more.
Vogue's Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour said of the event in a statement, "It would be impossible to recreate the gala on Monday evening, though I have loved hearing how so many are marking the occasion in their own ways. So instead, I asked a few friends to join me for a simple moment — one that I hope will bring us all a bit of joy."
