Fleet Foxes, Yann Tiersen, Elephant 6 alumni set for Jeff Mangum ATP
Britain’s favourite beard-wearers, Fleet Foxes, are set to play December’s Jeff Mangum-curated ATP.
The plaid enthusiasts are amongst an impressively diverse set of new additions to the line-up, which already includes Superchunk, The Olivia Tremor Control, Tinariwen, and A Hawk And A Hacksaw. Mangum, who has apparently hand-picked all of the acts, will also be appearing solo.
Today’s announcement adds the following to that list: Fleet Foxes, Mike Watt & George Hurley performing the songs of the Minutemen (wow), Robyn Hitchcock performing I Often Dream Of Trains, Group Inerane, Scratch Acid, Yann Tiersen (double wow), Half Japanese, and a mystery Elephant 6 Holiday Surprise that will apparently see a range of Elephant 6 alumni playing together and screening films.
Tickets are available here, but presumably not for much longer.
