Fleet Foxes and Animal Collective confirmed for Pitchfork Music Festival
The first round of bands to play this year’s Pitchfork Music Festival has been announced.
Amongst the headliners, Fleet Foxes and Animal Collective currently head up the first 48 hours of the festival, with TV on the Radio following on the final day. James Blake, the current king of UK chart-friendly quiet-step, is confirmed too, along with Das Racist, Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, Woods, Destroyer and Deerhunter. Controversial hip-hop collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All will also be in attendence.
The event takes place in Chicago this July (15-17) and tickets are now on sale for $45 (single-day tickets) and $110 (for the whole three days) at the festival website.
