The Flaming Lips have always been partial to a good cover, most recently taking on Stone Roses, Devo, Tame Impala and more. Now they’ve delivered a rendition of The Beatles.
Wayne Coyne and co have covered Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band cut “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds”, recorded in prep for a special show on NYE.
“While rehearsing for New Year’s Eve the other day, we decided to record a couple of the songs we were practicing,” the band write about the track. “Here is one of them.”
