FKA Twigs is the latest name added to this year's Bestival.
Festival curator and co-organiser Rob da Bank said in a statement: “I picked up a white label record by an artist called twigs in 2012 and started playing it on my Radio 1 show, with no idea who or what was creating this fantastic sound… Three years on and it’s exciting to see FKA twigs breaking through, still forging such a leftfield sound and winning! We can’t wait to welcome her to Bestival’s Summer of Love 2015… and I’ve still got that white label!”
She joins the likes of Charli XCX, Duran Duran, Lianne La Havas, Jagaara, Future Islands, Flying Lotus, Tame Impala, Lily Allen, Underworld, The Chemical Brothers, Rae Morris, Fat White Family, Action Bronson, Four Tet, Pond, Young Fathers, Todd Terje, Lapsley, Shura, Jungle, Jurassic 5, Little Dragon, Kate Tempest and The Jacksons, as well as dozens of others.
Bestival 2015 will take place at Robin Hill Country Park between 10-13 September. Tickets are on sale now, and you can get them here.
