First artists announced for Iceland Airwaves 2012

Django Django, Friends, Exitmusic and Daughter are amongst the first ten bands to be announced for this year’s Iceland Airwaves festival.
Icelandic musician (and former Best Fit Session star) sóley joins country-matesPrins Póló, Sykur, Samaris, Úlfur Úlfur and psychedelic blues rockers The Vintage Caravan as the first homegrown additions to the line-up.
Tickets and package deals are now available for the annual event – arguably one of the best music festivals in the world right now - which takes place in Reykjavík from 31 October to 4 November.
