Feist and Mastodon to release split single

Mastodon’s Troy Sanders has revealed the band have actually taken Feist up on her offer to collaborate. A split 7” single has been planned for release on Record Store Day 2012 in which the metal act will cover a Feist song and “throw some hair and dirt on it” and Feist in turn will take on a Mastodon song and “pretty it up.”
