FEELS reveal Shannon Lay has left the band

The band released their latest album Post Earth last year.

Yesterday (2 January), FEELS announced that Shannon Lay has departed from the group. They wrote on Instagram, "In saying goodbye to this past decade, It is with full hearts that we also announce the departure of Shannon Lay from FEELS."

They added, "The gratitude that we feel for the years of musical connection which we’ve shared with her is beyond words; she helped shape the fever-dream of what was Raw Geronimo into the powerful force of what FEELS stands for today and we will hold these musical swirlings of energy in our bones forevermore!"

FEELS also celebrated Lay's career movements, "2019 was a big year for us as a band- we released our 2nd LP Post Earth! and toured a TON! It was a big year personally for Shannon as well, as she released her 3rd solo album and joined Ty Segall’s Freedom Band. We wish her luck, fulfillment and lots of love in her future endeavors; she will always be family."
