Fear Of Men stream debut album Loom online
Ever since “Ritual Confession” back in 2011, Fear Of Men have appeared quite unlike their peers. Whilst most bands record a dozen demos and rush-release an album to keep afloat the internet buzz, the Brighton group have instead staggered their early releases, refining their sound and sharpening their songwriting over the course of a few years, finally rewarding patience with Loom, their debut LP.
Having already showcased opening tracks “Alta / Waterfall”, as well as lead singles “Luna” and “Descent”, the band are now streaming the record in its entirety over at Pitchfork Advance. At once fragile and tender and other moments claustrophobic and corrosive, Loom will be released on 21 April (UK) and 22 April (North America) via Kanine Records. A special Record Store Day edition will be available this Saturday (19 April).
Take a listen to the lead tracks from Loom beneath, with Fear Of Men playing album launch shows in London and New York, before heading on tour across North America and Europe with The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart.
