Fanfarlo stream new album track 'Myth of Myself'
London-based genre-spanners, Fanfarlo are finishing off their new, and third, record. But before then, they’ve released a taster of what to expect.
Today, the group dropped the rather sprawling ‘Myth of Myself (A Ruse to Exploit Our Weaknesses)’ onto their Soundcloud page, expected to feature on their follow-up to 2012′s Rooms Filled With Light.
They had the following to say of said record and the aforementioned new track:
“Dear everyone, we finished a new album. It’s the best one we’ve made. It’s not out yet, but we wanted you to be the first to have a listen, so here is a link to listen to the first song from it.
‘Myth of Myself (A Ruse to Exploit Our Weaknesses)’ is a rallying cry to (wo)man the barricades against the individual and all those who would have us believe this poisonous ruse. It is also the first song from our forthcoming third album, a record that in its own playfully serious / seriously playful way looks at human evolution and the weirdness of being this thing we call a person.”
