As previously reported, the kitchen table belonging to late Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis recently found its way to Ebay. The sale angered many fans, as well as Curtis’ own loved ones, but now its the seller who has been left annoyed.
As Pitchfork report, it turns out the table is back up on the online marketing site after the original buyer failed to pay for the item. A Canadian fan had spent £8,400 on the table during the first auction, but backed out because he “never asked his wife for permission”.
The item is currently going for a mere £820, a bargain in comparison – albeit a morally dubious one. Check out the new auction here.
