Eyedress details new record and shares warped lo-fi title track "Manila Ice"
Filipino multi-instrumentalist Eyedress has announced his second record Manila Ice and shared the woozy title track/album opener.
The 26-year-old musician - aka Idris Vicuña - has named the record after his home city of Manila and '90s one hit wonder Vanilla Ice. The album's artwork is also by Vicuña.
"I think this album represents everybody in the Philippines," notes Vicuña. "My girlfriend really helped me finish this album. She just told me to keep going. So this album is for her and our babygirl."
Manila Ice is the follow up to 2015's Shapeshifter LP and his Supernatural EP from 2013.
Eyedress is set to play a run of European dates this June, including a show at London's Birthdays. Find out the full dates on Songkick.
