Ex-Weezer bassist to release first Rentals album in 15 years

Alt-pop outfit, The Rentals are to release their first album in 15 years during 2014.
The group, fronted by ex-Weezer bassist Matt Sharp, will follow 1999′s Seven More Minutes and their 2007 comeback EP with a yet-to-be-named 10-track effort on Polyvinyl. The LP will feature Patrick Carney of the Black Keys, among others.
Sharp was a founding member of Weezer and featured on their first two albums. Watch The Rentals’ video for “Friends of P” below:
