End of the Road announce first headliners for 2013
Iceland’s Sigur Rós and Scotland’s Belle & Sebastian are the first headliners announced for 2013′s End of the Road Festival.
The two headliners join 12 other bands also announced today, including Best Fit Ones to Watch The Barr Brothers and the 4AD-signed Daughter.
“Sigur Rós and Belle & Sebastian are two of the most exciting and magical live bands around,” said festival founder Simon Taffe of the two , “and we are totally thrilled to have booked them.”
The remaining line-up announcements include Angel Olsen, Damien Jurado, Horse Thief, John Murry, King Kahn & The Shrines, Palma Violets, Pokey Lafarge, Serafina Steer, Stand of Oaks and Woodpecker Wooliams.
A Best Fit favourite, End of the Road won Best Small Festival at the 2011 UK Festival Awards and has eked out a reputation for its incredible hand-curated line-ups, year after year. Tickets for the three day event, which takes place from 30 August – 1 September at Larmer Tree Gardens, Dorset, are available now, at £150 including camping.
