Empress Of has added her own twist to Miike Snow's massive recent track "Genghis Khan".
The original features on the group's upcoming LP iii.
Empress Of, aka Lorely Rodriguez, released her own debut record Me last year to massive applause.
Speaking to Consequence Of Sound about the remix, Miike Snow's Andrew Wyatt says: “[Empress Of] sings, writes, plays, programs; she does it all. When I gave her the a cappella for this ditty, we knew it would come back quite beautifully transformed. Enjoy.”
iii is due out 4 March. It also features "Heart Is Full", which Run The Jewels recently reworked.
Listen to Rodriguez's remix below.
