Empress Of shares Eli Born-directed clip for latest single "Icon"
Empress Of has lifted the lid on her video for latest single "Icon".
The track features on her stellar debut long-player, Me.
Eli Born has directed the clip, which sees Lorely Rodriguez (aka Empress Of) wandering the streets of The Big Apple and the woods of upstate New York. Speaking about the vid, Rodriguez says: “I found a cinematographer that I loved and we just talked to each other for a couple of weeks. It was this kind of co-direction, we talked about what the song meant, how I wanted it to look, where we wanted to shoot, and how we would get the feeling of the song out of these locations. It was by far my favorite music video I’ve made."
Me is out now via Terrible Records.
