Empire of the Sun to soundtrack 'Dumb and Dumber' sequel
The Farrelly Brothers’ classic 90s comedy, Dumb and Dumber is set to get a sequel (if you forget the straight-to-DVD 2003 prequel of sorts) with both Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels on board for a project helmed by Universal. Now, the directors have revealed that outlandish Aussie electro-pop duo, Empire of the Sun will be manning the score.
The band had previously featured on the soundtrack for the pair’s previous movie, 2011′s Hall Pass, and now the Farrelly Brothers have taken to Twitter to confirm that they’ll be given a bigger role in the upcoming film.
