Elliott Smith benefit concert to take place in London during October
Following the announcement of four shows taking place across the U.S during August in memory of late songwriter Elliott Smith, another has launched in the UK, held in London this October.
21 October will mark 10 years since the passing of the influential singer and guitarist and benefit concert will be held at London’s Brixton Windmill.
So far, the live acts confirmed for the show include Sweetheart Contract and AAG , both are helping set up the event, with the organisers reaching out to higher profile bands interesting in remembering the musician.
If you’re interested in playing the show or helping out with organisation, please contact the promoter via Twitter.
The U.S legs of the events will take place in Portland, LA, New York and Austin.
