Whilst it’s worrying to think that there are people out there who aren’t aware of Elliot Smith’s genius, it’s reassuring to know that Domino records are preparing to right that wrong with a compilation album entitled An Introduction to…Elliott Smith due out on the 1st of November. This fourteen track compilation includes songs from each of his seven albums recorded prior to his untimely death on the 21st of October 2003.
