Echo Lake announce debut EP, “Young Silence”
After first uncovering the celestial magnificence of Echo Lake back in June of last year, it’s a pretty great feeling to finally have the London based quinet’s debut EP bleeding into our ears. A sonic breeze of colliding instruments soar and shimmer throughout the six songs that feature on Young Silence – a highly confident and hugely accomplished release for such a young band.
Released via No Pain In Pop on February 14 and available on 12″ and digital formats this will surely go down as one of the debut releases of 2011. Pre-order your copy here.
Echo Lake will perform at a special ‘Ones To Watch’ showcase hosted by The Line Of Best Fit on February 26 at Notting Hill Arts Club. Taking place between 4pm-8pm the remaining line-up is still to be announced. More news very soon.
The band are hosting a special EP launch party at Old Blue Last, East London on 19 February. Check their website for details.
