Eat Your Own Ears announce gigs in the dark
Eat Your Own Ears and Late Of The Pier‘s Sam Potter are collaborating on Blackout – a series of gigs that will take place completely in the dark.
The shows, which will take place at The Apiary Gallery, on London’s Hackney Road will feature acts whose identities will be kept secret, something that the organisers hope will inspire those involved to feel free to experiment ”free from expectations and preconceptions.”
The idea behind the series is that the overwhelming focus of the shows will be on the subtleties of sound, without the usual sensory distractions present at gigs.
The first Blackout event will take place on Thursday March 12, and of course, the participating artist will not be revealed. You can buy tickets from HERE.
